Apollo's delicatessen

I've eaten at this location a few times since I moved out here a few years ago. First it was Schlotzsky's and then it changed to Rocky Mountain Deli. I always got good food every time. Now it is Apollos Deli and Mo's, which is down south BBQ style. I met Mo there at the shop and he was very nice to talk to and I could tell he has a lot of passion for food. He hooked me up with a sample of his fried mushrooms and they were killer. I promised him I'd try the fried Catfish next time I come in. I ended up ordering a Cheesesteak sandwich because it's always a good way to find out how good a sandwich shop is. The food came out hot and it was delicious. Thin sliced roast beef with sauteed onions and peppers with melted provolone on top. What I liked was that it wasn't overly drippy and the bread was nice and soft, with a crisp on the outside. The manager, Aaron, was very hospitable and we chatted about 90's NBA basketball for a little while. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the people running the place. The food was good and to top it off, they have Strawberry soda. I'll be back for sure and I'll be checking out the Catfish. Thanks for the lunch guys. See you next time!

The breakfast burrito was perfect! I recommend the Philly cheesestesk for lunch. Laid back environment with various menu options at great prices. The new location on Nevada Ave is great with a lot of seating.

The best Turkey Sandwich that I have ever had! The ingredients are fresh and the bread...amazing! I will definitely be back!
