We had a great time! This restaurant is fun and the outdoor views amazing. The bartender was on her own but she was very friendly and was quick with drinks and service. Our pizza was awesome (and huge). The salads were so fresh with homemade dressings. The price so reasonable for the amount of food you get. Would recommend this place to everyone! Awesome food and staff very friendly.
The food was delicious and the staff were cordial. They don't take call aheads, but I was seated at the bar right away. Even larger parties seemed to be seated relatively quickly. They offer a full menu at the bar. I had one of the Denver biscuits with a side of mushroom gravy and honey butter - so I could try both. Their honey is locally sourced. I later ordered some strawberry-rhubarb jam. All was extremely delicious, and quite filling. With the giant size of their biscuit, I was stuffed.
Delicious breakfast. The spicy chicken is so good and not too spicy, just flavorful. The staff was really nice and the restaurant had a nice vibe. The vodka iced coffee is yummy too.
The hype is real. The biscuits are delicious. The food is amazing. The service is stellar.
I'm hesitant to write this because I kind of want to keep this place as a secret. But it's just too good to keep hidden.
A few things to know: this place can get pretty packed. We went early on a Sunday and got right in, but as we were leaving things were picking up pretty fast.
Our waiter Brian was amazing. He was funny, knew the menu backwards and forwards, and he was always spot on with his service.
The food was simply astonishing. Everyone ordered something different, and no one was disappointed. From the Winona with pimiento cheese and chicken to the kids biscuits and jelly, everyone will find something to love, assuming you like biscuits.
Hands down, every component of the meal was perfect. The mushroom gravy was a surprise star though. Normally we'd do biscuits with sausage gravy, but the mushroom gravy tasted like a mushroom demi-glaze had been mixed into a smooth roux. It has a really intense flavor that complimented everything perfectly.
I could probably gush about this place forever, but it's best if you just try it yourself.
Apparently, this is also the newest addition to the Denver Biscuit Company. We stopped in for breakfast because my husband had tried the restaurant in Denver. I have to say that the biscuits were everything I had hoped they would be; crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sausage gravy was tasty and we will definitely be back.
