(October 1, 2019, 9:03 pm)I have to say, the tamale plate had the best tasting tamales I've eaten in Colorado Springs. Amanda's Fonda, El Taco Rey, and any other Mexican food place are beaten hands down by these tamales in taste and texture alone. The reason for the 3 stars is the coffee was cold, the omelette my wife had was mediocre in taste. The place is small which is fine, no problem there. But when you sit down and expect a nice cup of hot coffee with breakfast and get luke warm, it just doesn't quite cut it. But I do have to say the tamales were exceptional. Order them with an easy over egg on top. Really, really good. I will go back just for the tamales alone.
