I have many, many extremely common food allergies which makes my favorite types of foods nearly impossible to eat much but salads and super basic foods so I always have to settle for chain or American which I detest, unless I’m able to take the time with staff to find safe foods I can order continuously. This is such a pain and so stressful for staff that I hate to bother them.
I called ahead as I know I want to eat here often and the staff were so INCREDIBLY considerate and thorough, I’ve never had this fantastic of an experience asking any restaurant what I can eat. I can’t wait to gobble this up this weekend!
It's an overload for all the senses. Freaking fantastic! It's that kind of meal where you are already placing your next order in your mind as you eat and feel the overwhelming urge to share with everyone at the table. Whatever you order will be awesome, and don't forget to try the tea!
I have thoroughly enjoyed the food from your restaurant several times during the stay at home order. I think the heart of Jerusalem sandwich wrap is a delightful pick. I also think your rice and kabobs are excellent. The food is explosive with balanced rich and authentic flavor. Certainly a pleasant departure from the norm palette of American dining, and an adventurous exploration into unique spices. I don’t think there is, or will ever be a restaurant quite like it in our area. And to the owner, thank you for your service, sir!
This place is absolutely fantastic! I went with a traditional Gyro with a side of falafel and I can honestly say that it was the best Gyro and Falafel I’ve ever had. The food had so much flavor and the meat was very tender. The falafel melted in my mouth it was amazing, and the plating looked like a chef did it. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is quaint and cozy and it feels very inviting. The server the day I was here was named Rama, and she was absolutely fantastic as well. She was working the whole restaurant by herself and managing to keep everyone very well taken care of. I’ll definitely be making the Heart of Jerusalem a frequent stop. Rama recommended the kabobs and I’ll be trying those next time I’m in. Seriously 10 stars!
