Las Palmitas

The place has a nice quiet atmosphere. The food was really good although my burrito could have been hotter. The service was fairly good, it took almost to the end of the meal for the waitress to offer to refill my drink. The prices for the meals were in line with what you got.

Las Palmitas is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Colorado Springs, CO. The music is not too loud, the environment is sunny (lots of windows facing the mountains), the wait staff friendly, and the food is very tasty! Their margaritas are good and not expensive; my favorite is Blue Curacao. And the guacamole is really good!

We had a very good dinner at Las Palmitas. We love Mexican food and this restaurant had some unique menu items. I am always intrigued when reading reviews and reading one review that says the food tastes "like it came out of a can" while the next review says "tastes homemade". Our meals definitely tasted homemade. Food was plentiful. I had the Hawaiian fajitas with chicken (sausage, peppers, onions plus fixins) and it was delicious. My husband had the bacon-wrapped shrimp fajitas. Both scrumptious. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, very pleasantly surprised.
