On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

My friend and I met up last night for dinner. She had her 3 children and I had my two. We had a great time. Our server BRANDON was absolutely the best ever. He was always courteous, kind and was very attentive to everything and anything our table of 7 needed. We have been meeting up at On The Border as nearly a monthly ritual for over a year and out of ALL those visits, this is the first and only review I have wanted to take the time to leave. Brandon delivered excellent customer service and was just fabulous. All of us continued to thank him for everything he did for us. We even told the manager how terrific he was. I wasn’t able to leave him more than a 5.00 tip, which I felt bad about because I wanted to leave him more. Money is tight right now so my children and I had the Create your own meal and I got the (Any 4 items) so we were able to omit up the meal and eat that way. Brandon was so kind and NEVER gave us the look of disgust that our table wasn’t going to be the tip maker. It was the first time I haven’t been able to afford a separate meal for us all and while it was embarrassing for me, it was a way for my girls and I to have something to eat and visit with our dear friends that we hadn’t been able to see for several months now. So it was all just a wonderful experience and made everything worth while. Some people should be trained by Brandon. He is fun, kind, professional, attentive, outgoing and took care of us at every point during our visit. He should be recognized for this, given a raise or a promotion and that is exactly way I am writing this review!!!

Good place to eat! The patio is really nice in warmer weather and the staff are very friendly. Chips and salsa are served as a free appetizer. I ordered the mesquite sirloin with bacon wrapped grilled shrimp. Excellent choice. Food is a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Always a phenomenal experience. Emma is a fantastic server supported by her managers Shannon and Tiffany who are the absolute best. The food is crave-able and prices affordable. Restaurant is clean and well maintained and service consistently great. Love this place!
