R & R Coffee Cafe

I ordered the syphon coffee and chicken and waffles.
Both were amazing.
Didn't care too much for the slaw on the chicken and waffles, but either way it's 5 stars.

I have mixed feelings on the place. The food is usually pretty good and I love the sober Russian coffee. The service is hit or miss, in the past five times I’ve been here, service as declined worse and worse. The pros, the food is good, the atmosphere is nice and the people are nice and friendly. The cons, a little pricey, and the service/lack there of is the biggest issue. A couple observations, I’m not a fan of the online or kiosk ordering system, I understand being short staffed, but I would rather wait in line than use these things. Speaking of which, I’ve been told three separate times to order from the table or from the self serve kiosk, but I often sit here and see others place their order up front? Why exceptions for some, but not everyone? I have a one compliment and one suggestion as well. I really like the younger kids helping out and running things, they are polite, great with customers, and what a great way to instill good work ethic at a young age, I love that! On the flip side, I notice some of the kids don’t do anything and just sleep or play games on the couch and cushioned chairs, which is fine, they’re kids. Would be nice for customers to be able to utilize that area though as it’s a prime spot with the fire place and a nice place to read and enjoy a cup of coffee, hard to do though when it’s taken over.

Update, I added an extra star because I appreciate the owners response, running a business is tough. Hang in there I’m sure good help will come in time.
