Short Stop Burgers

I'd hoped when Short Stop changed locations they might add a dining room, but unfortunately it's still all take out. The burgers and fries are average to good. The value just isn't there as their combos are $1.50 to $2.00 higher than they should be.

We pulled up with a hungry family right after a long road trip, they had just closed and were ready to call it a night but they still made us fresh burgers and fries! Stephanie and Gennesy were amazing! Definitely recommend Short Stop on Palmer Park and Powers, great food, great service! They even gave us Bacon for dog our who was with us! Best service I've ever had at a fast food restaurant!

I wanted to give Short Stop a higher review but it would honestly be a stretch. The cheeseburgers are dry and are made using lean beef, which adds to the dryness and lack of flavor. I'm not sure why you would use lean beef for a burger, but I'm guessing it's a cost savings thing. The fries are well cooked but could definitely benefit from a little more seasoning. I did not try anything else on the menu. Prices are fair.

Overall I think Short Stop is a decent local burger option if you're in a hurry, just bring your own sauce.

I ordered the cheeseburger and fries and it was absolutely delicious. The french fries were actually hot and so is my burger.

A couple of days ago I ordered burgers and fries for 2 and it was under $10.00! I was really surprised at the price because I am used to paying $10.00 for one burger of this quality. It was what My husband and I considered a top quality burger with a good sized hamburger patty that had just the right amount of condiments on it. We were very pleased. The service was fast and friendly plus the interior of the restaurant was very clean. I love having Short Stop located so close to us.
