Tavern

We've enjoyed meals at the Tavern several times with varying degrees of satisfaction, but this time our lunch earns 5 stars. We shared the amazing shrimp cocktail, then I tried gravlax for for the first time in my life and loved it, partner had the French dip. Wonderful bread to share, plus outstanding service. A lovely experience all the way around.

Everything about our experience was lovely! The staff is very professional. My husband noted how impressed he was that they pulled out my chair, put the napkin on my lap, filled my water first, help me put my coat on etc. Of course that’s just the service I was talking about. The food was another thing. We shared the wedge salad to start and it was so well balanced in flavor. Very enjoyable. Both of us also ordered steaks and sides. I have had some pretty good steaks, but the ribeye I had rivals for my favorite for sure! We then had the cherry almond strudel pie which was lovely. Thank you for the delicious dinner and great experience!

Was tired of paying premium prices with fair service and ok food in Denver. Took my mother to the Tavern where I knew the food and service would be outstanding. The Tavern did not disappoint. Our wait staff was personable yet very professional. My meal came out slightly later than the rest at the table and immediately the manager comped my entire meal. Now that's service. Denver restaurants need to wake up!! I will continue to make the drive to Colorado Springs for superb service and fantastic food if Denver can not get their act together. Thank you, La Tavern for making this outing special for my family.

We arrived at the Broadmoor on a week day and were able to get a reservation. All the food was fantastic. The service was excellent as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

From the moment we were greeted at the front we were given 5 star customer service! Matthew was very knowledgeable on all the dishes. The onion soup was to die for. The classic Caesar was delicious. The scallops were phenomenal! The baked Alaska was the perfect way to finish the meal! The manager even came by to see how our food was. We loved the experience and will definitely be back for a unique dining experience in the garden room! Thank you Broadmoor! A+
