The Public House at The Alexander

First time for geeks who drink at this location. Good beer selection. Wish they had a full menu selection but what I had was good.

Damn good burgers. Good service. Live music, at least when we were there on a Friday night.

My review is based on the service Rachel gave me and my table. Outstanding and professional. She corrected a few kitchen and bar mistakes quickly and with a smile. I very much appreciate that. The food is good and the beer list is long. I cannot recommend the gin here but it’s a nice place overall.

First time visitor and it did not disappoint. The history of the building and compound is very interesting if you have a moment to take it in. The food, whiskey, and beer was very very good for my lunch. The food came out tasty and very hot on a cold winter's day when I visited. The flavor came through with a bang. The service was awesome. I will be back to try more of it. Don't usually give five stars on first visit unless it is that good, which this was. Thank you Public House for keeping history alive with a great place to enjoy.

Good beer selection on tap. The appetizers we had were very good and came hot. The service was excellent and our server engaged us in conversation. There is a lot of history to see in this location. When the weather is warmer, there is lots of seating outside. Make the trip, visit and have fun.
