Probably one of the best experiences I have had at village Inn for a long time. The Hostess was friendly and very prompt. the waitress was friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu and even made suggestions and the food was good. They need to work on the cleanlieness but Will definitely go back.
It was my first visit great customer service.
Food was Great
And the pies were delicious.
I will be back in Colorado in June and I will definitely will visit again with my family and take some pies ????????
Not too bad although not exactly as I remember it either (there’s good and bad to that). With it being Labor Day weekend and with the annual hot air balloon festivities in full swing, local breakfast/brunch restaurants were operating by reservation only with wait times varying between 10-45 minutes dependent upon locality. After a roughly 20-minute wait, my family and I were seated...nice, clean table, while hostess pleasant and professional. Food not bad with competitive prices — #GreatPancakes though (fluffy, light and HOT!!!!!). All-in-all it was a nice Sunday outing~ ????????????????
I was in the mood for a full breakfast and decided to go to Village Inn. Although this is not a fine dining spot, I am confident that i can get a good meal there. I usually modify my order and that is okay at Village Inn. I opted for the personalized scrambled egg breakfast with hash browns and English muffin. I was assured that fresh eggs were used. This fit the bill! The server was attentive enough and professional. I ended up ordering a piece of Lemon Meringue pie and one of Triple Berry to take home. I will be back soon.
We'd only ever come here again for the pie. Their pies are excellent!! Service was fine also. The food was however, not so much on the great side. Let's just say they must have made my husband's plate first and set it aside because his food didn't get to him while even warm. All the potatoes and hash browns on all of our plates were undercooked, my husband asked for an over medium egg, didn't get that quite right either, and the pancakes were a bit stiff and tasteless, to include the syrup on the table not being sweet enough to even try to cover up them not being the greatest tasting things. Gravy is a bit thick and a little on the darker side, but yet not peppery, so to each their own. Although not enough gravy was served with the biscuits and gravy dish ordered. Again, waitress and service was awesome, pies, again are amazing... but we'll stick to other places for breakfast food.
