Waffle House

Sometimes you just have to get your "scattered smothered and covered" on! And if you want to step it up a notch, you get those hash browns "peppered" as well!
The bacon was crisp, the eggs were perfect, and the coffee was surprisingly good!

One of the biggest surprises was that, as complex as our order was, they nailed it!... My wife wanted crispy bacon and she got it!

We drove all the way from Lake Avenue to the Waffle House on Fillmore (in the snow), and we weren't disappointed!

The food is excellent. Twice as good as the hop across the street while paying half the price.
I will be there every Sunday I can make it to get my hometown breakfast!

Always dependable for a hearty and tasty breakfast. It has the friendly feel of a neighborhood gathering place what with the greeting when you walk in the door and the prompt attention to our continuing needs. I always find it remarkable how efficiently the servers and especially the cooks work together as a team to provide us with our breakfast. The shiny new Waffle House recently constructed on the corner of Fillmore and Chestnut is a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Tyler is always very nice to us. Makes us feel at home. Great food and great people. We will be regulars

Always a favorite for us, when we hit Colo. Springs...best 2 guys working, one was Micah. They were running as New Years Day. Brought people waiting for seating cups of coffee! Who does that ?? Shout out to this place!
