EL TAPATIO FAMILY MEXICAN RESTAURANT

Edit: had to come back and edit my review because the last 3 times they have messed up my to go order. They didn’t add the sides I ask for and charged me for them or got the wrong thing. Also, a MAJOR contributing factor, the food was tasteless and not good at all. I think what happened the chef that inaugurated the place just show the staff how to cook and left because the food is not even close to what it was when it open. The guys working there are pretty nice tho, they just need to step up their food.
I’m so glad this place has new owners, because it’s a great location! The food was great, chilaquiles were delicious and the service was really pleasant! I’ll be eating here way more often, their menu options are really good!

This is such a wonderful addition to our downtown! My husband and I had so much fun and enjoyed every aspect of our experience. Also, the margaritas were wonderful! We will be back!

Ordered a 3 combo plate: cheese enchilada , chicken chalupa and chile rellano. Churros to go

I especially appreciate the cabbage slaw.

I really don't care for when the restaurants use egg roll wrappers on the Rellanos but it was still delicious. The cheese enchiladas as expected. The chicken chalupa was ok the shell was fried in an odd shape the chicken was plentiful, shredded but lacked any major flavor.

Simple spot that offers good Mexican food, along the lines of what you'd expect.

We sat outside and the service was friendly and fast and we were checked on frequently.

What a blast! The vibe was lively, and the veggie quesadilla was hands down the best I've ever tasted. We even had a nice chat with the owner. The staff were super friendly, and the location couldn't be better. Can't wait to come back for more!

A hidden gem. The friendliest staff, and fantastic food. Great authentic food.
