We came for an early lunch and I had a garden salad with anchovies and a boiled egg. I needed something light but ended up walking out of there with a cream puff and bread pudding, which I ate later. That bread pudding is something else!! There were so many delectable looking desserts to choose from it was almost overwhelming.

The pizza was steamy and delicious! The dessert options are NEXT LEVEL AMAZING 👏 😋 We got a pastry box to-go full of delicious sweets. We will 100%go back not only for the food, but the staff is so kind 😊

If I’m going on a road trip and I-70 is the slightly longer route, I will still take it because that means I’ll get to stop and eat here. Every time I come in, the pastry case is filled with decedent desserts that will tempt even the most stringent health nut. The only negative I can say is their cinnamon rolls have ruined most cinnamon rolls for me because I always compare them to Burning Mountain’s cinnamon rolls and every where else’s always fall short.

The pizza is delicious and their breakfast sandwiches melt in your mouth. The atmosphere is friendly and sitting at the bar and enjoying a drink, you can experience all the hospitality and community of a small town.

I always recommend Burning Mountain as a stop when road tripping on I-70. So far no one I’ve recommended this gem to has been disappointed.

We stumbled upon this place on our cross country trip. A local said it was a great place and it was! It was my sons birthday and the whole staff came out and sang him happy birthday! They also had really yummy gluten free options which was great as 3 members of our family require that!

Perfect for the whole family, plus beer and good deserts!

The pizza shop is set back from the main road in a small shopping center. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We went around 4PM and there was only 1 other group inside.

It’s nice and open and clean. We were promptly given menus and drinks ordered. They came quick and we placed our orders.

I got the Calzone, wife got the Arugula Pizza, son and daughter got a cheese pizza and other daughter got a salad.

Food came out in average time. Everyone loves their food.
I have a personal opinion that is not a complaint. It is called Burning Mountain, my Calzone was a little overdone and the various pizzas were cooked more than I would prefer. But that’s just my personal likes. My family loved it.

Now desserts! They have a fantastic selection and it all looked freshly made. We had to get dessert to go. You could make dessert your only reason to stop here!
