Timberline Grill

The steaks are good the west coast oysters are good but the clams on the halibut plate were not any good and for the money I could have got way more food some place else. If the plate looks half full why do they not fill it up with rice or potatoes or really just give me some lettuce to make it look full .

My husband and I were in Black Hawk for a romantic weekend, and I made us reservations at the Timberline Grill, given that it was one of the nicest restaurants in the area and had some of the best reviews. Prior to our arrival, I called the restaurant to ask them about providing a vegetarian option off the menu. The weekend was a surprise for my husband, intended to be more for him than me, and he is not a vegetarian but I am. I knew I could manage with salad and sides if that was necessary, but called to ask about a vegetarian option anyway. I was told that the inquiry would be made with the chef, and they may or may not be able to accommodate me. Upon our arrival, I was informed that the chef had planned a specific meal specifically for my needs, and the staff were already in the loop and were all very helpful and accommodating. The meal was stellar, and we had a wonderful time. We will certainly be back in the future!

This place gives any of Colorado's top steakhouses a run for their money. And in my opinion it just might be the best! Their service is good, their food is great. The west coast oysters are so good & the filet is so tender it melts in your mouth. Get the oscar on top & it's marvelous...

One of the best meals I have ever had. I was a little reticent because it is a restaurant at a casino. But it truly was excellent. We had the double cut pork chop, salmon, chop salad, and the peas (as a side) and the carrot cake dessert. Everything was cooked, prepared, and plated perfectly. Service and ambiance were also great. I don't like noisy restaurants (which many seem to be these days). Timberline had music playing softly and was great. Service was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised we had such a great experience.

Well this was one of the best dinners we have had up here. Shane rocked it. The food was top notched as well as the service. We had dinner the night before at the "White Buffalo" it sucked. If you want a great dinner go here. GREAT Filet! Ask for Shane.......................
