Solstice Winter Bistro

"I can't help laughing with delight after each bite!" Solstice is only open during ski season and the world must be sad come April when they close... EVERYTHING is amazing (yes, we ordered the menu). From color-changing cocktails to small bites where you eat even the garnish; eat your celeriac puree with short rib to earn an infused whiskey nightcap and just order the dessert menu. WOW!!!

Food is amazing and service is great. Drinks are well done. Lots to love here. Can’t wait to go back.

Gem of a spot to eat! Food here is so tasty and unique! Next to Safeway, a must stop spot to grab a drink, meet friends and relax after a great day outdoors. Cool decor, awesome stocked bar with a good choice of local options to drink. Plate sizes small to modest, perfect for sharing and trying a few on the menu.

Absolutely amazing! Came in on a Friday night, was pretty much packed, with one table left for us to be seated. Waited a little while for drinks to arrive but the serving staff were amazing and brought out a small plate as an apology. We were looking at all the dishes coming from the kitchen and couldn't decide on what we wanted it all looked so good! Asked the waitresses what they would go for and recommend. They offered great choices and it tasted delicious!! Got chatting with the chef after the floor had cleared out and he was really great too! Not the type of place you'd expect in Fraser but DEFINITELY worth a visit! Can recommend the Poke and the Drumsticks (with banana!)

Great gourmet food, good service, small restaurant. Fantastic tapas. Main dishes super flavorful. Very enjoyable. Booth seats six in comfort with minimal noise. No reservations, but called ahead and they accommodated us with a few minutes of arrival of our guests.
