Casa Mexico

I have been to countless Mexican restaurants, this is the best one. The entrees were huge and quite unique. Great sauces. This is a very special place in Winter Park.

Bottom line is that I found Casa Mexico to be a very nice restaurant. I went there knowing that they had some vegetarian dishes. They had spinach enchiladas, which I've had before at other places, but they had a burrito stuffed with a chile relleno among other things. That was new to me, so I chose that. I really enjoyed it.

When you are first seated, they serve you chips and salsa. The salsa was excellent, and the chips were the style that I like: yellow corn that are pretty substantial. Not the thin ones that break whenever you try to dip them into sauce.

I went there probably around 4:30 or so--before the rush--so the waiter was not busy. With that said, he was friendly and attentive. Oh, speaking of that, they give you a pitcher of water. I didn't really need anything while dining, but a water refill is probably what I would normally need. No so here. I wish the restaurant I went to last night did that, because, once the my waiter took my order, I never saw him again. No water refill there.

When you come to Winter Park, I would recommend that you put this restaurant on the list of places to eat.

The best food in winter park! Ask for Saul, he is an awesome host. Margaritas are top notch and the food it great!

Food was very yummy! Large portions and great margarita specials. Our server was very nice and also gave us a complimentary tequila shot on the way out. Thanks Casa Mexico!

Had dinner with the family. Read reviews about big portions and they certainly don't lie. Got Combo Platter, Steak and Shrimp Tacos, and Steak Fajitas.
Beef nachos were on the salty side, but delicious nonetheless. Tasty food, friendly staff, nice restaurant. Couldn't finish it all so we took some to go. We'll be back.
