Idlewild Spirits Brewpub and Restaurant

Excellent house-distilled spirits and artfully crafted cocktails. The rustic ambiance reminds you that you’re in a true Coloradan alpine town. The food is delicious, too. I visited this place in 2017 and didn’t forget to return in 2020 when I happened to be in the area again. They didn’t disappoint on either occasion. I’d give five stars for the great drinks alone, but Idlewild deserves an extra one for good food, quality service, and a memorable atmosphere.

This place is awesome! The spirits are fantastic and the cocktails are super creative. Sara took great care of us and was really helpful talking us through the menu. We had the brussels sprouts and truffle fries. Bother were awesome and just $5 for happy hour! Highly recommend stopping here if you're in Winter Park.

Cozy atmosphere with multiple copper stills and you can check out where they make their own spirits. I have been here about 5 times and had a great experience every time. Great place to grab some drinks and/ or dinner. Always satisfied with the service, food and drinks at this place ;)

We stopped in for a cocktail before dinner so this review doesn’t reflect any of the food but the cocktails—despite being free-poured instead of measured—were solid. I had the Martinez (obviously) and Bryn had the Brown Derby and both were balanced and delicious. Is definitely come back to try the food (which sounded amazing).

Stopped in on a Sunday evening for apps and a drink, it was delicious. The homemade ginger beer in my mule was key! Truffle fries were fresh and super hot, and the fried pita with hummus was just the right amount of crispy. Restaurants up here are hit or miss and you're lucky if they're even open in the off season. Definitely putting this one in the regular rotation. Cheers.
