El Paraiso Family Mexican Restaurant

Hot fajita lunch plate:come stacked with lots of steak, peppers, onions, beans, rice, and 4 delicious tortillas for less than $15 such a good choice. The beers were cold and crisp! The waiter was friendly and called me hombre! Perfect Friday lunch! Will return soon!

I was in Gunnison yesterday and was craving some authentic Mexican food. The food was great. The atmosphere was superb. And it was an overall wonderful experience. The restaurant is so vibrant in color. I highly recommend this place. I saw people ordering margaritas and they were delivered to the table with a lime that had some kind of alcohol on it so the Margaritas were delivered to the table flaming. That was kind of a neat thing to see even though I don't drink. I'll go there again the next time I'm in Gunnison on a road trip.

Food was amazing! The chips and tortillas were some of the best I’ve ever had. I got two tacos for lunch and they were delicious. The service was very friendly. Only reason for 4 stars is it took over an hour to get our food after ordering. There was a large group of maybe 20 people that had to be served before us and understandably it isn’t the restaurants fault, but it was unfortunate.

It's a cute place, with nice outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and welcoming. It was busy lunch hour when we arrived. Were seated within a couple minutes, water and drink order where slow. Ordered 4 tacos which took an hour to arrive. Annoying. The fish taco was very tasty, above average. The beef taco was bland, no flavor in the beef whatsoever and lettuce and cheese don't taste like much naturally. Overall it was ok.

Excellent service! Bar tender and server were quick and responsive. Chips, salsa, etc were served as soon as we sat down. Very pleasant atmosphere. Loved it! 5 stars +
