George's Drive Inn

This is a 3.5/4 star. It's a small local establishment that offers a good alternative to the nearby fast food. Their specialty is a chili burger but they offer a variety of sandwiches, plates, and shakes. They do not make burgers in house but that is no different than the A&W across the street and I feel the quality was better. The green chili was very good and the onion rings were as well.
I will return.

Small but very popular local diner. Hamburger was decent. Reminds me of the old fashioned mustard burgers I used to see as a kid. Chili burger with green chili was moderately spicy. French fries could have been hotter and crisper. Onion rings were the prepackaged kind. We had our dogs with us as we were passing thru town so we sat outside at the picnic tables. No table service provided outside but the tables were very dirty and had lots of bird droppings on them and no trash can in sight. Otherwise the outdoor area would have been reasonably pleasant. Inside was packed at 1230 on a Friday.

Had the best cheeseburger! Freshly made burgers and fries. Stopped just passing through. Worth every penny for fresh, hot food. Great lunch stop on the way to Great Sand Dunes!

Service and food was great. We went there for breakfast. There was a line. But wasn't long before we were seated and served. Prices were reasonable too.

This place has amazing burgers and food and won't break the bank. One of the neatest places to eat in SoCo. You won't regret making this easy stop. Plenty of parking and great outdoor tables under shade trees with mountain views. Also have dine in.
