Golden Plate II

Tried Golden Plate on a whim Christmas night - tired of turkey and cooking. Probably the best moo shu pork I've had in ages, and the spouse's kung pao chicken was tasty! Soup, egg rolls, and crab & cream cheese rangoons were really good. Our food was served fresh and hot, but in shifts. We only saw two staffers the entire time we were there; I don't think they were expecting much of a crowd. They were doing a booming carry-out business, and I heard them tell one caller it would be at least an hour before their order would be ready for pick-up. The dining room was full by the time we left; we watched another couple leave before they could order. Again, I think they were just unprepared for that amount of business on a major holiday. The food was amazing, and we'll try them again.

This place is fantastic and the family that runs it are amazing, we don’t deserve them. Thank you so much for the wonderful food and service.

This place is amazing!! The house seasoning was delicious. Order more potatoes than you think you need, you won’t regret it.

Chicken Panang Curry was PHENOMENAL. Perfect subtle kick of spice without needing to ask for extra. Came with more veggies than what's listed on menu, like sliced carrots, whole green beans, even asparagus. Fulfilled my craving perfectly. Good, quality food.

It is close to me. Upon pulling up to the restaurant it was in a almost vacant strip mall. I picked up my order and was very impressed! Although the restaurant was quiet, the food was amazing and the price I paid for portion size was incredible. They have limited hours, but worth waiting for them to open. Don't judge a book by its cover (outside store front) you won't be disappointed!!!
