Simply the best place in Denver. People are so friendly and the food is amazing and great quality! Low prices too! I come here regularly and never been disappointed! Support this guys we need more places like this!

Best breakfast burritos! I should know, I've been going there for 25 years. I won't buy them anywhere else. Family owned and operated by wonderful people they take great pride in the food that they make for their customers.

Finally caught this place when it's not jammed and hard to find parking, on a late afternoon. So great.Our terrific bartender was friendly and fun and recommended some good beers, our happy hour and entree foods (oysters, salmon dip, a cheese thing...) were delicious. 12 oysters for $16 is a bargain even in New Orleans!

I have been coming to Maria Elena’s for a long time and I love their food. I was reading some of the other reviews and clearly a lot of these people have never owned their own business. Yes it’s a little pricey but that’s inflation. They moved to this new location and I’m sure their rent went up. Also as far as the staff I know lately the owner has been under a lot of stress do to her husband being very ill and in and out of the hospital. She’s only one person and has a lot on her plate running a busy business and having staff isn’t easy, so people have a heart and take it easy on the comments. Again I will say the food is delicious and alway consistent.
