Ohana Grille

I loved the Shoyu Chicken the first time, so much that I had to google the recipe. The second time not at all. I am not sure if there is a new cook or something similar. The second time the chicken had only salty flavor, no spices, could never be compared to the first. Obviously it was two different cooks. I preferred to spend $18 here to change my Chipotle, Qdoba routine but I wonder if next time the chef will be there.

Absolutely delicious! The flavors brought me straight back to Kauai. I will DEFINITELY be back soon!

Fantastic upscale Hawaiian fusion food! Everything we had was incredibly delicious! Super moist and tender Kahlua pork, crispy (not greasy) chicken katsu, and the spam musubi ???????? Friendly staff and good service. Worth the price. Highly recommend!

Wow!
Very authentic Hawaii feel. (I’ve never been to Hawaii, but I have seen Surf’s Up and many episodes of Hawaii 5-O). This place fits the bill.
They had some REAL surfboards on the walls and the lake outside gives you that wonderful seaside feeling.
Their food was very delicious and tasted good.
They had these neat little packets of traditionally brewed soy sauce that they were just handing out for FREE! Great service.
I appreciated the sign by the door that says, “no begging”. It sends a straight forward, no-nonsense message that makes the place feel much safer.

We were in a tight pinch for some yummy breakfast and Ohana delivered. The service was very kind and told us upfront that the restaurant had just filled up so food may take a bit longer than usual. We decided to stay because, WHY NOT? So glad we did! The hostess and our server were great at keeping our coffee and BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS filled while we waited. The mimosa was also one of the best I’ve ever had. Made with coconut rum! Dangerously delicious. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the view of the city and Sloan’s lake.
