Satchel's Market

This place is a little gem. Forget everything you heard about Popeye's chicken sandwich, the one here is in a league of its own. I'm sitting in the restaurant typing this and trying to savor every bit of flavor left. Their sandwiches come with chips or a salad, and because I'm trying to watch my cholesterol, I opted for the salad. It was awesome and healthy. Not sure how to describe the dressing, but it was delicious. Do yourself a favor and stop by this awesome sandwich shop.

We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and their sandwiches are truly some of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had! Highly recommend the Cuban and fried chicken sandwich. We will be back!!

Outstanding sandwich from a truly craft shoppe. I stopped in today for the first time and will most certainly be back. I had difficulty selecting a sandwich because the menu is a truly great read. I went with the fried chicken sandwich and while i really wanted the chips, the salads looked really good, so I went with that. The sandwich was clearly made with care and love and was one of the best things I've eaten in awhile. The salad was super fresh and delicious. It was perfectly dressed and seasoned and the cheese is a nice touch. The service was perfectly friendly and attentive. I truly enjoyed the neighborhood vibe and attention to quality. I will certainly be back!

This independently owned counter-style sandwich shop is a welcome addition to downtown Edgewater. I had the Satchel, a fried chicken sandwich, and was able to pick out the individual textures and flavors of each ingredient. It was the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to try the other menu items.
