Cactus Jack's Saloon

Thanks for the response. I do not think a gift card is necessary. I would like to see however that the servers/bartenders pay attention more to guest that are not regulars. We have been there a few times and each time we wait really too long of a time to get served. Some of the bartenders seem a little put off by the non-regulars. This happened unfortunately to a group of 6 of us that have been there before but just not all the time. We will most likely come back and would love to give a better rating as improvement are made.

Cactus Jack's saloon seems like a locals bar, but didn't make us feel like we weren't locals. My sister brought me here for a fun night out, and we lucked out because Ben was there running karaoke. Good burgers, and if you ask for medium, it will have pink, as it should.

I have been going to Cactus Jack's for years. At one point in my life I lived very close and would have a couple meals a week there. I would bring out of town clients there and they loved it everytime. I never wrote a review because I'm just not much of a review guy but I was reading some of these reviews and thought I would chime in.
For starters Megan and Gary are the sweetest and nicest folks. They have made me feel welcome there since day one. They have had challenges from their deck being washed away to staffing issues (as all bars and restaurants do at times... that's just the biz).
The food has always been good and the deck is just perfect.
As far as anyone that complains about dogs the patio obviously doesn't understand Evergreen or Colorado for that matter. As my dog sits next to me snoring as I write this review I can tell you Evergreen loves animals more than it loves people. Dogs are part of our community and are more loved than most people here.
What it boils down to is this is a fantastic bar with great owners, customers and staff. The food is always consistent and good. Me and my dog love hanging on the patio and listening to great bands in the summer. If you are in Evergreen you have got to stop by. You won't be disappointed!

Loving the atmosphere, but the food is amazing and Em provided us awesome service and suggestions. Definitely will return. Thanks for helping us show our friend from out of town a good time.
