Switchback Smokehouse

Cute eatery with character. The brisket was sliced much thinner than I like, but was likely sliced for sandwiches. The Mac-n-cheese was creamy and delicious.

This is undeniably my favourite barbecue place in Colorado. Whatever you decide to eat, get a side of bacon. I don't believe the English language has the words to describe just how good this bacon is.

Great staff and the food is absolutely amazing. The pulled pork is tender and has an amazing smoke flavor (as it should), it almost melts in your mouth. The ribs are exactly what ribs should be (fall off the bone, juicy, tender, and flavorful.) The beans and potato salad are also perfect. I can’t say enough about this gem. Good BBQ! Don’t change a thing!

By far, the BEST smokehouse in Colorado. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu items here. A must for the bucket list. They sell out often, so get there before 1pm to be able to have the full menu to pick from. It’s that good.

This place is great. The meat is smoked to perfection. The sides are a good portion and reasonable cost. There are some great hiking spots close by and it was nice to walk by the water after dinner too. Four stars instead of five because there is no wait staff and check out process felt rushed/inconvenient for staff.
