Our pork is pretty friggin incredible, the brisket when it’s fresh is always superb, the babe and kitchen sink are our house favorites and our customer’s favorites. Salsas on the side were flavorful and the green one even spicy. Some of the best tacos I've ever had. Definitely recommend. “Sorry for the photo of the half eaten meal. I got part way through and thought “oh my god I really need to post a review about how good this is”. I absolutely love Hello Poke. Despite living nearby I only first ate at this place about 2 months ago and have been going about once a week since. Every time has been fantastic. The food is fresh and delicious and the portions are huge. They are generous with the fish, and one poke bowl can easily be both lunch and dinner for me. I’m surprised by the negative reviews. The price at hello poke is comparable to other poke shops, as are the portions. One benefit is that avocado is included in the price of the bowl. There are a few mix ins you might find at other poke places that aren’t here , but I personally don’t mind. If you get a chance I’d recommend this little gem in golden.”

“We were attending a wedding event at the Rose Event Center and the Golden Hotel was perfectly located for us. On top of that, we were able to bring our dog so we didn't have to find a dog-sitter. The Golden is a lovely hotel located right next to Golden main street and Clear Creek. The rooms are cozy/clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Parking was very easy.”

For example, the elote is a toasted corn on the cob dish with fantastic flavors. And the Navajo bread is delicious. “Great food! Very juicy brisket and tender pork ribs, cooked long and slow. The ribs had a nice dry rub seasoning that went down deliciously with or without sauce. Reasonable prices for how much meat we got (the ribs were huge!). I'm looking forward to trying their bison ribs next time. Thank you for coming to Golden!! We've needed a good local BBQ for years. As a Texas girl myself, I am very picky when it comes to smoked meats. This BBQ tasted more like home than anything I've had in Colorado so far.”
