Johnny's New York Pizza

So this lunch-counter style pizzeria is, for what is, FANTASTIC.

The pizza here is truly well made - NY Style that's sumptuous with really sweet mozzarella and a perfect ???? crust.

Definitely basic - I don't believe they serve any alcohol and there is no bar - table service consists of a server bringing you your pizza - self serve drinks - but for a few bucks per delicious slice this spot really hits the spot.

If NY pizza is your thing, 100% recommend.

I was there with my father for dinner last night. The pizza was excellent, and the service was wonderful. They do not skimp you on toppings either.

To the employees i'd like to apologize if my father, and myself discussing politics was disruptive in any way. I know from experience that customers like us make nights frustrating, or awkward.

I would defiantly recommend this place , and promise not to be as interesting next time I visit.

I'm at odds with what to say. Ordering online wasn't exactly a snap, and the service was somewhat impersonal.... but I got 50% more sausage on the side than I paid for and although I didn't feel a New York Italian restaurant vibe, it's a surprisingly clean place. I'd almost eat off the pay counter. Almost, someone spelled their name with a greasy sausage finger on the edge. Thankfully my order was takeout.

This place has amazing pizza & pasta! Their ingredients are of high quality & deliciously put together. I had to stop eating gluten and I really wish they had gluten free pasta. Maybe some day! Until then, I'll still cheat and eat their pizzas with my hubby on the weekends.
