“My husband and I finally got around to trying this semi-new restaurant today for lunch, and left impressed and ready to return again in the near future! We shared the sampler for 2 plate, which consisted of a basket with 2 small meat samosas, some plantains strips, 2 chicken drumsticks, and some very taste flatbread. Next came a plate of yummy rice, with a very tasty cabbage stew and spinach stew. We then topped it off with a fluffy crepe which was reminiscent of thin pancakes, topped with warm chocolate syrup and strawberry slices. The lady owner was VERY friendly and welcoming. There was some very upbeat African music playing in the background and the whole vibe was nice! Will definitely be returning!”

“I have recently "discovered" this roaster that I have seen many times driving by on garrison street. I'm a coffee lover that previously bought beans at the supermarket and ground them myself at the store. But since trying a couple of pounds of fresh ground at village, I'll never go back to buying at a supermarket. The aroma and taste is astounding! Add to that the friendly staff that's always there for questions and suggestions, and it's icing on the cake. A rare 5 stars from me!”

“Good prices. Prompt service. I judge a place on its ribs and brisket. The brisket was juicy and didn't NEED the BBQ or house sauce. So flavorful. The ribs FELL off the bone. I pulled one to me to pick it up and the bone just came right out. With a solid smoke ring, they were tender and juicy. This place definitely deserves continued business. Also has out door activities and makes for a GREAT DATE NIGHT.”

“Lunch at noon today on a weekday, maybe 5 customers in the place but as with my first time there a year or so ago, DELICIOUS sirloin hamburger, I mean, this burger really stands out for flavor and cooked just right, plus tasty french fries, about $10.00 - granted you can get a good to great burger for less at some places but service was ultra fast and friendly, it's a great sports bar with lots of screens and cool memorabilia, parking lot, etc. My friend had a Reuben, said it was terrific as well.”

Have always been happy and pleased with the staff and drink prices are pretty average for the area. “My favorite place to eat for breakfast!! We stumbled on this place by accident. Our waitress was Frances who was so kind and friendly. Because the prices are great, the portions big and the service exceptional we return as often as possible! Frances remembers my mom always orders a large orange juice with a glass of ice on the side and huevos rancheros for breakfast down to the specifics of how she likes her eggs made. Becky is another amazing waitress!! She visits other waitresses stations outside of her own making sure coffee is filled, water, etc. I love this place!!”
