Kabora Kabab

The few times I passed Kabora while in Southwest Plaza my interest was piqued- Afghan cuisine in a mall food court? I had some trepidation as I hail from a land where mall food usually sort of sucks, but doing a quick internet search showed excellent reviews so my husband and I gave it a try. All of the excellent reviews are well-earned because it is seriously delicious! My favorite is the chicken shawarma plate- the seasoning mix that they use is so flavorful and I pretty much crave it all the time. Both my husband and I just love Kabora, and it's now in our regular rotation for takeout.

We are here, I got the Gyro wrap and it was amazing. Food was to order so expect to wait a few minutes (which is a good thing). The person working there was super nice as well. Give it a shot.

S/O to Kabora, the owners are extremely nice and friendly. The food is far above par. Amazing. My friends and I are homeless and spend a lot of time in the food court, by the fire, charging and staying warm. Kabora has shown the utmost respect and has donated food on a few occasions. Much love! Thank you Kabora!

Well seasoned, and made fresh. Absolutely excellent! Possibly the best Mediterranean-style food I have ever had!

First time eating at this establishment and it surprised me, excellent food in a mall setup. The salad was fresh and lettuce crisp, rice was cooked and flavored to perfection. The rice was perfect. I tried the lamb Kabob with a side skewer of chicken. The lamb turned out not to be Kabobs, but was ground lamb, with great seasoning, but I think overcooked but not overly so. The chicken was perfect.
