Romano's Macaroni Grill

So we passed this place a hundred times. Decided to stop. Happy hour every day 3pm to close. What a gem. Staff is amazing our bartender Will was so awesome and friendly. Crispy artichokes were incredible. Ask for a side of sauce. Goat cheese peppadaw peppers were incredible. The house wine was delicious. I am so surprised at the quality and taste of food. A must stop. Sorry we did t stop sooner!

We went on Christmas. WOW! Is really how I would describe the experience and not all completely in a positive light. But I will say the staff did absolutely the best that they could. The reception desk was overwhelmed with people coming through the door with and without reservations. We had reservations and still had to wait about an hour and a half (but the bar worked fine for the wait). When we were seated, the waiter did a great job of getting our order for our meal but the kitchen was overwhelmed. The kitchen was dealing with eat-in diners and also meals to go. By the time we got our food, some of it was cold and some was under cooked. To top it off, they had run out of desserts ????. Did I mention, thank goodness for the bar?

Again I realize it was Christmas and I probably shouldn't expect too much but WOW! We will maybe have to rethink our plans for next year.

Due to a late flight on Thanksgiving Day, our family decided to go out rather than cook. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. You could tell they were struggling with some difficult customers and were generally overwhelmed. But, our server and especially the manager were so amazing! The food was great and we didn’t mind a little extra wait. We’ll be back soon.
