The staff and owners are really nice. The wine that they serve is nice and reasonable priced. The crab cakes are outstanding. A great place to stop by and enjoy a glass of wine.
We had the pleasure of trying the breakfast/brunch menu this morning and wow! Food was amazing and the specialty mimosas were spectacular. Always a good time and great vibes at Audacity!
What a great spot!! I wouldn’t have known it from the outside but once inside we were greeted instantly and offered to taste several wines before we decided on one. Really friendly, unpretentious atmosphere with great selections of wine. Had the charcuterie board and it was full of yummy selections! Will definitely be returning!
This is my new favorite place in the neighborhood! I went here for a book club and will be coming back often. The wine choices they have (changes weekly) are fantastic. They will let you try a few if you're unsure about what to get. The best part of Audacity is the food options. The small charcuterie board is enormous and loaded with all the things. I love that the chief uses seasonal ingredients and everything is fresh. The boards differ depending on what's around so the board you have might look different then another even on the same day. Very cool! I've also had the shrimp and sausage scampi and it was out of this world amazing too. Great vibe and fantastic people.
Well, we won't do that again. I'll say that the service, wine and food was a good evening out. At the beginning being told that there was no menu for wine selection, we rolled with it. The same for some nibbles, being one plate of crab cakes. And after 3 glasses of wine each, my fella and I only, and the one plate of tapas, the bill arrived... about $125. What?? We don't mind spending money on a good night out, but it would be nice to know how that total is shaping up on the way. Not having menu options, which depict prices is throwing your hat in the ring for whatever total. We always tip at least 20%, so our Thursday evening of let's try a neighborhood place to get out of the house for a short bit turned into an unexpected $150. We're glad we supported a local business but we won't be back with an unknown cost quantity.
