Luke's, A Steak Place

As always a great meal. Steak was prepared exactly as ordered, veggies were spot on. Awesome Brussels Sprouts!!! I ate at the Bar and the Bar tender made onehellofa Old Fashioned.

The food was good and the staff friendly. Unfortunately, the service was slow and inconsistent. Our large party frequently were left with empty waters and drinks. We also had to wait quite a while for the entire table to be served because the one server had to make multiple trips. The manager introduced themselves at one point but didn't help an overwhelmed server bring the main course out.

Very very good food, service was too slow. Bread very good, caesar salad and ribeye both great. Still tipped 30%, but all of your customers need full attention. Almost went looking for our waitress. Was not overwhelmingly busy. Would go back for the food.

My local friend and I return every time I'm in the area. Always delicious steaks and generous pours for happy hour. Returning again tomorrow and looking forward to another excellent meal.

Over all a very nice place, with a pinch of mediocre. The food was great, only complaint was the char flavor on the steak was a little over strong. The atmosphere was nice, the decor very good looking. Fortunately, there is a big divider so you aren't forced to see all the TVs over the bar. The only issue we had was with the service. For $60 per person (with tip) I expect very good service. Our waitress was average at best. I had to ask to get my drink refilled after it was empty for over 10 min. She disappeared for a long periods of time (small place, not busy, only 3 tables were sat for two waiters). When told I'd have the wine that was paired with my steak she had no clue what it was and had to ask for it's name. It's in the menu, have the common sense to say ok and look it up in the menu later. Maybe I'm being overly picky, but at this price point I expect you to be on top of your game. She wasn't. All in all, I would visit again.
