Handi's

Finding a good place to eat while on a road trip is always hit or miss. Handi’s was a home run. This little burger place right off I-70 is unassuming outside and in. Their burgers don’t need fancy toppings or a donut for the bun. Instead, it’s the type of burger you’d get when you go to hangout with that one friend who actually knows how to grill, you know the one. It’s the type of burger, that when you take a bite and get the crunch from fresh lettuce and those really good pickles that you find in the refrigerated section, not the limp ones in the condiment aisle, you can’t help but go, “Mmm, this is a good burger.” And all your other friends nod in agreement, because they’re busy enjoying their own burgers.
Yeah, it’s that type of burger.

I absolutely LOVED this place!
The building is super clean and the ladies who work here are genuinely friendly and happy and the burgers are freaking AMAZING!
They are definitely made with real beef and fresh ingredients!
Kudos to the cook, you can tell by the taste of the food that they love what they do!

The prices are also fair and there is room for ateast three semis to park.

We will definitely stop here again the next time we're passing through.

Cheeseburger tasted homemade and there were several fresh items available.. I f I didn’t have a craving for a burger, the salad bar looked like a great choice. Great lunch spot.

Wow. So good. My husband couldn’t stop talking about how good his cheeseburger is which is unusual for him. Chicken tenders were homemade and so was the honey mustard. So good. Also had the special jalapeño popper appetizer and it was really good. Highly recommend if you’re traveling by. Staff is great. Friendly and helpful.

Ordered the double bacon cheese burger and it's one of the best burgers I've had along with some very good crispy fries. My co-driver ordered the same but with bite sized fried onions and they were quite good too and agreed that the burgers were some of the best he's had and were not greasy like the one's you buy at fast food places. Highly recommend and definitely worth the price. Very filing.
