Public House 701

We recently ate here for a late night dinner. It was great to find a place open later in Durango. We ate some appetizers and they all were delicious- our favorite was the deviled eggs. The menu had a good selection of everything without being too overwhelming. Highly recommend and will dine again when we come back!

Great food, good drinks and great prices!
The chicken and waffles was good! The waffle was more corn bread like but I’m not complaining. The mussels were fantastic! The staff was attentive and really nice

Walked in on whim looking for light fare and a drink. Sat at the bar. Pleasantly surprised!This could be our new go-to restaurant for easy going, well priced food. Had deviled eggs, side salad that we very generously proportioned, and fish sticks that my husband and I shared. Food was GREAT! Atmosphere was perfect and we felt good about the prices. I never write restaurant reviews, but this was good food, good prices, good atmosphere and we will be back. Just what Durango needed!

Yummy stuff! had the Arancini risotto balls, super savory with house made marinera and chicken and waffles, just right amount of heat, crispy outside and juicy inside! so good. great cocktails and reasonable.

Public House 701 in Durango, Colorado is a must-visit restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend the salmon, which is cooked to perfection and served with an exquisite homeade maple sauce and colorful green beans. The chicken and waffles are also exceptional, with crispy and juicy chicken and light, fluffy waffles with a tasty homeade maple syrup on the side. I requested dipping sauces for the chicken and they brought me a spicy honey maple and spicy homeade buffalo. Looking for some fresh flavors, feel free to give them a shot and you will not be disappointed.
