Excellent service, very complete menu selection with a Mediterranean ambiance, the Kennebec Cafe is an outstanding choice for fine dining.

Great ambience, decor and food. Friendly staff. Told us about the intervention of the present owner Barbara and their redevelopment of a motel into this great restaurant 21 years back. Went to hike didn't expect to find this beautiful place nestled amongst the pretty scenery. Amazing experience. Food was great. Took all our tire away.

I didn't know what to expect here. Durango is known for its food, but this was 15 minutes away in Hesperus, a very small place. I ordered the Fennel Pollen Dusted Sea Scallops, roasted carrots north-african style, and Duck Two Way (recommendation from my server Ben, and he was so right). To put it plainly, one of the top 5 meals of my life, and definitely the best duck dish I've ever had. 5 stars isn't enough, would highly recommend!

We were in town visiting and friends brought us here. I usually stay away from steaks because they are usually not prepared correctly or bland and you have to pile on pepper. Their steak was the best prepared I can remember in a very long time. The side dishes and appetizers were incredible to boot. Will definitely be stopping there next time in town.

Lovely restaurant. Beautiful artwork all over! Friendly waitstaff. I had salmon salad and hubby had a burger. Both were so good. Dessert was to die for. Definitely will go again!
