Tacos La Tradición

The restaurant is colorful and decorated with portraits of Mexican icons. The staff was very nice. Even though it is a Mexican restaurant, my kids ordered nuggets and hamburger and ate it all with fries. I ordered the whole fired monaural and it was delicious and well cooked. My wife had some tasty street tacos. All in all we would come back again.

I have high standards for tacos, and these were excellent. The only con is that they are very pricey for a counter taco shop, but it's a tourist town, I guess. We got there right at closing and they were kind enough to cook us up some carne and fish tacos. Everything about the fish tacos was sublime--just as good as you'd find in San Diego. The carne tacos were very good too--authentic Mexican street food style. The tortilla chips are made in house and were fresh. Beans are topped with queso fresco.

Everything was very authentic and delicious.

Quick stop for lunch. Friendly and fast service. Dine in or take out. Outdoor seating was available (weather permitting).
Guacamole was delicious.

Best Mexican restaurant in Estes. In my opinion one of the best restaurants period. Amazing flavor and completely authentic. I went with family and we all ordered different dishes and they were all great. The tamales were great and the tacos were stuffed with flavorful meat. The presentation was on point and the service was polite and helpful. So many overpriced restaurants in the area that disappoint. This restaurant is definitely worth trying, great food.
