Blazing Bird (Fort Collins)

Went there tonight and the food was tasty! Got the loaded chicken sandwich in mild and an Oreo shake. THIS PLACE IS SPICY!! people reviewing poorly because there’s finally a spicy option in town are used to the places that claim their food is hot but it’s not. I went for mild because they warned me which was appreciated and it was super tasty. I liked the sauce that came along with it. It is a little more on the expensive side, but the tenders are really big and I have a leftover Oreo shake to enjoy. Very friendly staff. We’ll be back!

Had Blazing Bird for the first time. I can honestly say that I had the words "wow this is delicious" cross my mind while chewing this delicious loaded burrito. When I walked in I was greeted right away. I informed the team this was my first time. They hooked me up with the Loaded Burrito. By far the best burrito I've had in Foco. Super pleased with the customer service. Shout out to the cooks back there for whooping up this masterpiece for me. Two thumbs up!

Swung by for lunch today. Tried the taco plate and had one of them in their waiver required "Blazing" spice. Very hot and not for the faint hearted. I survived and moved on to my other taco which was donned with "extra hot" spice. Definitely a couple notches cooler than the first. Both were very good. Tried Dave's fried jalapeno slices and they were spot on. The tenders themselves were pretty large and cooked well. Will certainly be back for more!

The owner, and the food are awesome. Definitely much better than Comet chicken. I'm happy that the Northern side of town has an awesome chicken place now. I enjoy the fusion of different flavors, and the variety of options on the menu. Definitely a fun and tasty Mexican-American fusion for some of the menu items. Really great overall, will be going back many times to come.

It's always exciting to find another hot chicken place in town! Service: 5 stars. Food: 3.5 stars. The spice level was on point and the tenders were huge, but the flavor wasn't quite as good (for me) as some other hot chicken places. The mac and cheese for the kids was pretty standard, and the Comeback sauce was a little too sweet. I did like that they have a pretty varied menu that goes outside your typical "tenders or sandwich" options.
