The Blind Pig salad is my very favorite salad ever! Aside from the always great food, this is an awesome place to come for lunch with co-workers, a Sunday football game, a date night for drinks, or a weeknight dinner with the family. The music can be a little loud sometimes, but other than that, this is definitely one of my go to's in town!
Thank you for having great vegetarian and vegan options for food! It’s a great atmosphere to catch a game, eat some food with friends, and have a great time. Staff is usually super friendly and I have always felt taken care of.
The breakfast buffet was amazingly good with everything you could think of. Had the traditional breakfast items but the breakfast mac & cheese was phenomenal. Strawberry-kiwi mimosas, by the pitcher, were delicious.
Been here for the night life which I liked a lot, now this time we tried their brunch. $1 mimosas and $5 bloody Mary bar on Sundays. $14.95 for their brunch buffet which had a pretty good selection from donut holes to the usual sausage and bacon. Service was quick and good.
Borderline "Biker Dive" kind of place. Not bad, if that's your thing.
It's located on College Avenue, downtown. Your first impression when walking in is that of walking into an old-time bar.
It is darkish inside, with monitors high on the walls, with the requisite bar in the center. Booze was QUICK! I had hardly ordered my 90 Schilling before it was sitting in front of me. The beer was cold and "Brooke" was friendly and efficient.
I had met a couple of friends for lunch and we all had different items. I got a Bar B Que sandwich, one of my friends got the Cobb salad, and the other got a chicken club sandwich.
I was the only one who left unhappy. My Bar B Que sandwich was on a long hot dog bun, and the Bar B Que was finely chopped. Brooke had never had it so she could not give me details in advance. Too bad. But, it WAS OK.
As I said, my friends were very happy with their generous portions and the flavors. It's gotta' be hard to please everyone.
