I come here for the cheese and onion enchiladas and, of course, the margaritas. The food is very authentic and the margaritas are so good! Everything is very reasonably priced as well. I recommend going for happy hour!
Cool historic Mexican food. Be careful: portions are generous and you will get filled up on chips and guacamole and chili con queso. So come hungry. Margaritas looked good and there is a 3 margarita limit.
Our professional group did a relatively small group (50 people) meeting. Melissa and Mel helped set it up, and it went very smoothly. They were enjoyable to work with. The catered food was tasty, and there was plenty of it. We are planning on coming back.
Great local Tex-Mex restaurant with it's own unique vibe. The margaritas are fantastic, especially the Barrel Aged Big Tex which is the best margarita I have had in Fort Collins. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the $. It is not super expensive, but a little on the pricey side for the type of restaurant. Although the quality and atmosphere do make it worth the money, it's just a bit pricey to go to more than a few times a month, unless if you're just going for drinks ????
By far the best Mexican food I've had in Northern Colorado to date. The food and service is fantastic- initially rated a 4, but feeling generous because very rarely does a restaurant ask for feedback, which makes the Rio even more unique. I can't say I'd change anything, other than finding more space to feed the drooling throng of people waiting for tables!
