As a vegetarian this seems like the last place I'd want to go but their vegetarian taco is amazing. The line can get long during rush but they get through people quickly. The restraunt is always clean. The staff is always friendly. They have a hand washing machine that is very useful and super fun to use, especially for the kids.
I love this place. Monday night it's nice a bone. Ribs as many as you want a buck a bone and they are so good. They have a baked potatoes that is loaded with cheese, sour cream, shredded pork and butter. It is to die for. So incredibly good.
Serious Texas BBQ is a Texas themed Barbecue Restaurant, our visit was on a Saturday evening and the place was not really busy. Unsurprisingly, country music was playing in the background. This establishment is counter service only and does have some outdoor seating. I really appreciate the condiment bar which features a plastic cutlery dispenser. My wife wasn’t super pumped about the soda selection (limited Coke products). They serve a variety of what I would consider to be normal Bbq entrees. They do also serve a variety of beers/margaritas. I didn’t see any Gluten-free or vegan options displayed on the menu. Also, didn’t see any kids meals. The front entrance is a double door and level (+ curb)with the parking area, they do not have a door opener for those with limited mobility. I ordered the brisket sandwich combo ($10.75). My sandwich tasted fresh and smoky and definitely wasn’t dry. I found the portion size to be satisfactory for the price. The staff was very friendly as we ordered. After I was finished eating, and even though I was hesitant, I opted to use the auto hand cleaner (blue picture) they have in the dining area. It worked really well. Pro tip, every Tuesday is Buck-A-Bone ribs and Buck-A-Beer night. Please “like” this review if it helped you in any way.
Overall the food was good. Better than most BBQ joints up here. The ribs were dry (could have just been the luck of the draw). Most of the staff was cheerful and pleasant, however there was one guy that just seemed mad at the world. Overall a good place for BBQ!
I'm a fan of the variety of sauces they have to offer. The quality of meat at this location is better than the North one. I went at the end of the day and asked if they had any scraps that I could share with my dog and was able to bring some home for her. They get a star just for that. Overall friendly service and clean restaurant!
