The Crown Pub

We had the fish and chips which was good along with the service. Minus one star for not pouring a true black and tan beer. They use Guiness and a local ale that does not equal the taste of the Bass pale ale.

From the moment I walked in the door I was treated like gold. Best fish & chips I've ever had and the service was top notch! Love this charming pub.

Had the Guinness stew. The flavor was good but portion was small for $15.95. Other people with me had a sandwich and a salad which were average as well. We al had one alcohol drink and bill was $95.00. Wont be one of my go-to places for dining. I dont mind paying high prices, but I expect good quality when I do.

Love the fish and chips here! Also recently tried the ham and swiss melt for lunch which was super yummy. The fresh squeezed lemonade is also delicious. Will keep coming back!

Not a bad place to sit down and grab a pint. Very cozy atmosphere. The service is prompt and respectful. The calamari was cooked well and not chewy. However, the fish and chips were straight out of the box portions and the tartar sauce was weird. Need to improve the National English dish for an English styled pub. Besides that little gripe, it's a fine place to eat and enjoy a few beers.
