I love this shop. Having known the shop where the owner worked in Australia; he brings not only the flavor, and techniques but also the passion that Aussies have for meat pies. I never leave here hungry or empty handed. Literally the only place I have found authentic meat pies state side. %100 recommend.
We ended up here by accident, and it was unbelievably amazing. The pies are so delicious, and the Australian sodas are great.I have been recommending this place to everyone I know! If you have the chance, please visit! The prices are very reasonable, and you will keep wanting to come back
The epitome of comfort food. Savory pies and sweet desserts made from scratch. Possibly the flakiest crust I've ever experienced. Waltzing Kangaroo is on point. Everything we have tried has been absolutely delightful. This is one of our favorite spots in Fort Collins. Veggie White Cheese, and Veggie Thai Peanut are both incredible, as well as the Spinach Rolls, all three make excellent vegetarian options.
Quick, super friendly, counter service, makes Waltzing Kangaroo an easy in and out, grab and go location. There is limited seating, but I've never had a problem finding a table to dine-in if we wanted.
We originally avoided checking out Waltzing Kangaroo because I assumed they wouldn't have vegetarian options available. I was wrong, and the only disappointment is that we didn't find this gem sooner.
An excellent selection of delicious pies. My wife, who isn't a meat pie fan normally, loves their Thai vegetable pie. My favorite is the Thai chicken pie. The sides are tasty as well. The salads are a little small, but that's really just a minor complaint. All in all, a great place to eat on a cold Colorado winter night.
Went on a Saturday night around 6PM with my wife. The first thing I noticed about this little cafe/bistro was how clean it was, and that it had about 6 to 10 tables. Next I noticed the dessert pastries in the display next to the register. We were greeted with friendly, courteous enthusiasm. The staff of two were very pleasant and accommodating. The meat pies were unique and delicious. The pastry top of those pies were flaky, as good pastry should be. I could describe the food experience in detail, but suffice it to say that it was wonderful. I highly recommend it.
