Had the bacon wrapped dates. They were amazing! The bread is always fresh. Unfortunately, the risotto was undercooked this time and had too many unpleasant textures to make it a 5 (they listened, however, and removed it from my bill which was awesome.) The scallops were wonderful. Everyone else loved what they got.
I will definitely go back, though. This place has rarely disappointed and typically amazing. I look forward to going back. They have a separate gluten free menu as well.
While it has a very stylish atmosphere and a great variety in the menu, I'd say it's very overpriced. I got a "starter" salad that was $8.99 (the house salad) and it was okay, had a few dark green wilted pieces. I also got the butternut squash ravioli, and the pasta itself was very yummy, though the roasted squash pieces sprinkled on top were very underdone and still crunchy... It did have a lovely browned butter sauce, which is hard to do right. Anyway, overall I think it's a so so place, probably won't go again, but it wasn't terrible. Service was good, they kept checking on us to refill our waters and were quick to bring anything we needed (an extra plate, the check, etc).
My work had their annual holiday lunch here. I have an extremely bad dairy allergy so I shouldn't be at an Italian restaurant in the first place. However, he waitstaff and the cooks were very accommodating in helping me find an option that could be made without dairy.
I really appreciate that level of service!
Biaggi's is a fantastic lunch or dinner spot. Nice cozy lounge and tons of booth, table and patio seating. While large, it maintains a warm atmosphere. The food 8s FABULOUS. Try their fried ravioli with creamy vodka as lunch versus an appetizer. Ask them to add a few for the meal portion. Creme brulee is to die for. Prices are moderate. They also offer family meals for four to takeout...select your pasta or pizza preference.
