Lee's BBQ

They ask you if you would prefer whole pickles in your sandwich or the relish. I definitely loved that because I don't necessarily like sweet with my beef. The sauce however is very much its own in addition to the delicious rub on the meat. Very good. They will also deck out in order of chili fries like crazy for you which would also super good. Everything was tasty but almost missing an extra bit of spice perhaps. Even the person who doesn't like spicy foods would probably make that suggestion. Now I wish I would have taken a photo sandwiches are made and wrapped ready to eat no mess! Enjoy.

Green chili burger is the best in town! Frank, the owner, is a very good guy cares alot about his customers!

We stopped in on a trip home to south Texas and were glad we did. Cute little place. Don’t let the exteriors of it stop you from going in; you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Like an ‘50s diner, as it started out to be (the antique sign above tells that truth). Staff is friendly and low -key; like they know you. Comfortable. We had the Chicken-Ranch- Bacon sandwich and a bbq sandwich with onion rings. Excellent! Oh, and the ice cream cone. It must have been at least 6 inches tall. Not kidding. And delicious. All of it hit the spot. Thanks so much!! Give them a try. You won’t go wrong.
