What an outstanding experience! The entire staff was knowledgeable and cared about creating a fantastic atmosphere. Living in Chicago, people know what high caliber dining is and this restaurant goes toe to toe with some of Chicago's most prestigious restaurants. What a gem in Grand Junction. If you are within a 100 mile radius of this place there should be ZERO reservations about going here. The next time I'm anywhere near Grand Junction I will be making a pilgrimage here. Truly spectacular!
My experiences at Bin 707 have been superlative! I got take out once on a road trip a year ago (excellent) and this weekend I dined in. I got there somewhat late but they seated me right away. The server was very nice and attentive and the staff made sure I always had a full glass of water. She recommended the tomatoes which were one of the best dishes I’ve ever had anywhere. I typically don’t like tomatoes but this made me a convert! You can tell they source the best ingredients locally. The baby gem salad was also delicious, and the veggie burger was one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve been pescatarian for 14 years so eaten hundreds!!)
All of the food was expertly crafted, high-level New American and *actually* farm-to-table. Additionally they have an impressive and delicious non-alcoholic beverage and mocktail menu, craft cocktails, and a wine list featuring local wines which they let me taste before deciding.
Can’t recommend Bin 707 Foodbar enough, my only regret is I was too full to order from the Pie Menu, and that I can’t take them home with me!!
Tried this lovely place out on our visit to GJ and it didn’t disappoint. Everything was seasonal and delicious. Definitely coming back every time we are in town.
I’m a burger connoisseur and this was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Service was excellent, atmosphere is very trendy and fun. Drinks were fantastic. The chocolate marshmallow pretzel pie was good but a bit too much caramel for my taste. Overall wonderful experience.
We decided to stop in for an anniversary lunch at this fine eating establishment. The service and the food was not impressive for such an occasion. We were prepared to sample thoroughly a variety of their foods, because we heard great things. We enjoyed the Charcuterie appetizer, and we were impressed by the smoked trout salad. My Sassafrass Soda was enjoyable enough that I got a second. My wife raved about her tender juicy Chicken Sandwhich, but the bun could not hold up to the juciness and she had to eat it with a fork. My Pork Katsu Sandwich I did not care for, the pork is cooked medium rare, which is ok for those who like it that way, but it was not mentioned on the menu. The sandwich was also overly soggy with a flavor lacking slaw topping.
The service was a disappointment. Our server left at the end of her shift without checking on us or letting us know she was leaving. So we would have asked for more drinks and sampled other menu items because we were prepared to splurge, but we didn't know who to ask until another server eventually helped us. Gratuity is included so I guess service doesn't matter here. I am subtracting a star for service, and another star because of soggy buns and lack of menu clarity. I don't think we will try dinner at Bin 707.
