Smile Hot Pot

Great new restaurant. GJ needs more places like this. This is going to be one of my new go to lunch spots.

So happy that there is hotpot in town! Hotpot is one of my favorite dinner experiences out, and I have sorely missed it since moving to grand junction. My boyfriend and I enjoyed Smile Hot Pot. We tried the spicy and miso broth. We both preferred the spicy broth, but both were good. The only mild critique I give is that I wish they would serve a little more broth than what was given. We had to order a second round. Otherwise, we loved it and will definitely be back

This was overall an extremely lovely experience. Definitely something Grand Junction sorely needed and it definitely delivered.
When we walked in we were greeted by a very welcoming and sweet server. She checked on us a few times throughout our meal and was a ray of sweetness and positivity. It didn’t take long to take our orders and for our food to get to us, and it was presented beautifully. (And the restaurant had quite a few people in too)
I’m a stickler for quality vegetables but the vegetables looked beautifully fresh and were very crisp and delicious. The meat was also fresh and tasted wonderful.
If for any reason you’re confused about the process the servers will gladly help you through it.

The only note I would add is if they had bigger sauce containers or options for custom sauces it would be perfect, but if you run out of sauce they’ll gladly get you more. I just hate bugging servers for something like that but that’s more of a me thing.

If you’re curious, here’s what my fiance and I ordered; Beef NY strip, Pork belly, glass noodles, udon noodles, and the small vegetable set.
I highly recommend and you should seriously go support it!

Great meal and what a blast, so fun and interactive! Decent prices, nice and new. Excellent service, funny waiter. Had a great time and can't wait to return.

I'm so excited that a place like this is finally in GJ! Great food with lots of options, helpful service and the owners are amazing. If I lived in GJ, I'd be coming here weekly.

If you don't know how HotPot works, just ask and they'll help you! Remember that authentic Asian restaurants will not be like your standard Western restaurants. Servers aren't constantly checking on you, if you need something, wave them over politely and ask for help. Cooking the meat and veggies is really fun!

I recommend getting a Thai Tea no matter what. You're going to love it!
