The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill - Grand Junction, CO

I am so happy they opened! Tge food is everything I crave! The Hummus sampler platter comes with a large amount of Pita, which is awesome! The falafel is so tasty! Their baklava is delicious! I could come here every day! Employees are helpful and polite!

Dined here for the first time, with a good friend, during spring break, 2024. They had recently opened and we wanted to wait a little while until the crowds died down as the entire community was thrilled to have this type of restaurant come to our town.
When we first walked in, we were immediately greeted by a very friendly staff member. As I am a salad aficionado, l ordered the Mediterranean rice bowl. There were options to add different types of meat like chicken or salmon, but I chose to go vegetarian this day. My dining companion ordered a traditional gyro with french fries. Unusual combination but for him it worked.
After a very short time, our food was brought out onto their lovely patio. The rice in the middle of my bowl was the perfect temperature. Not too hot, not too cold, and the colorful vegetables were crisp and delicious.
I declined a bite of the gyro because it's just not my cup of tea. However, the fries were delicious! It was almost like they were baked because of the crispy textured outside and the melt in your mouth, warmth of the inside.

They had the usual choices for drinks and kindly gave me a couple of water for my little dog.

Checking out the bathroom showed them to be extremely clean as was the rest of the restaurant. It seemed like a great deal of care was taken to provide a lovely experience for staff and customers equally.

They're quite easy to find on Patterson road right next to the new coffee place.

Looking forward to my next meal there as I will try something a little more adventurous.

The food was excellent. The staff was working very hard to take care of everyone. The manager, Dan, was in at least three places at once trying to assure every diner was happy with their meal. When we sat down we noticed that a third of the tables needed to be cleared off and several of the drink options from the soda fountain weren't available as they were out of the syrup flavors. We enjoyed our dinner but felt that overall it was a little pricey. With some time and experience they should have all the kinks worked out and it will be a fantastic place to eat.

First time going. Still very busy for new restaurant opening. Able to get in and order and get a table. Tried the chicken and steak souvlaki for our first time. Chicken was a bit dry but the steak was definitely on point. Will certainly have to go back and try after it's been open for it's first month. Always believe that people are nervous when a place first opens and will reevaluate again at that point.

You guys....The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill opened today and of course we had to go. After being in Greece recently I've been craving some good Greek food. This place did not disappoint! The tzatziki is absolutely delicious and compares to my favorite tzatziki I had in Greece. My boyfriend can't get enough of his chicken gyro. The feta fries are something else. Also pictured is the falafel, lemon potatoes, and pita bread. The falafel has such good flavor and texture. Its the best I've ever had. It's all so so good. 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 Go get yourself some! I'll be a regular here for sure!! Great, friendly service. Great quality food. I'm impressed.
