Took the Powderhorn Plunge shuttle a good warmup to the palisade plunge. Rodney did a great job in assisting me in route finding for this new trail. Ended up buying a single ride back up the lift and a delicious burrito from the taco stand
This was our first time trying downhill mountain biking so we took a beginner lesson with Dillon. He was a skillful coach full of so much knowledge and useful tidbits! We all learned some new skills, tried a few different trails and he had us grinning from ear to ear the whole time! So much fun! If you’ve never been I HIGHLY recommend taking a beginner lesson with Dillon!
Grew up skiing here, the prices are relatively affordable compared to other US resorts and the atmosphere is wonderful. I love a good tree run and the occasional powder day is worth it even in late February. Very few to no lines!
Stayed at a Goldenwoods Condo for the better part of the first week of 2022. The condo was decent and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Didn't downhill ski this trip but enjoyed the cross county ski trails just below the resort lodging. Also drove up the hill to cross country near Jumbo Reservoir. Looking forward to our next stay.
Had a fantastic time here with some good friends. The staff was friendly and the Mountain was not to crowded during New Years 2022. The resort is more local and it could use some updates but I think that is a small thing. There are some great blue runs here. Definitely worth a visit especially if it just got snow!
