The Seasoned Brisket

Ives tried brisket all over the country and even frequently smoke my own. This was hands down one of the best briskets I’ve ever had. Mac and Cheese was very flavorful and a little peppery which I like. Coleslaw rounded out the meal. Wish I didn’t live 1,000 miles away.

Food is good, but way over priced for the food you get. Family owned, portions are very small. Especially when it comes to sides. If you got deep pockets, enjoy. But a family of 4 will spend a week's worth of grocery shopping money in one sitting. I can only afford to eat here once to twice a year.

It's a family run restaurant, every single member contributes to a lovely experience. Really gourmet food. Presentation and follow up is remarkable. Even the youngest member greets you with genuine enthusiasm. You even get a discount if you are a frequent customer.

A spur of the moment stop was well worth it..... unique wood/smoke flavors. Amazing mac and cheese and very friendly and welcoming staff.

We're from Texas and pretty picky when it comes to brisket. We both have been on BBQ cook-off teams, and when we stopped we didn't know what to expect. This stands toe to toe with some of the best Texas brisket I've had. Smoke penetration was excellent and the perfect amount of tenderness while the meat still had enough integrity for bite and not fall apart. The Brusselsnaps were outstanding. Everything was outstanding. If this family had decided to do business in a big city they would have a line out the door until they sold out like Franklin's in Austin. 10/10

Oh yeah their homemade BBQ sauce is just as good. I highly recommend the spicy sauce. And if it's too hot for you it's time to embrace the heat and enjoy a well balanced sauce.

Best food in Craig and I'd wager one of the best BBQ restaurants in Colorado!
